Holographic Security Seals for Authentication & Warranty Protection

A tamper-evident seal only protects a warranty or a piece of equipment if the seal itself can't be faked. A plain paper VOID sticker can be photographed and reprinted — a hologram is much harder to reproduce convincingly, which is why holographic seals are used anywhere both tampering and counterfeit replacement of the seal itself are a concern.

HoloStrip® Holographic Security Labels

Intertronix's HoloStrip Holographic Security Labels combine a holographic strip with built-in security slits, so any attempt to remove the seal tears it apart rather than lifting cleanly. The complex, multi-layer geometric holographic pattern is difficult to reproduce, which helps a genuine seal stand out from a counterfeit one. Custom printing supports logos, sequential serial numbers, barcodes, and QR codes, so each seal can be tied to a specific unit, service record, or warranty. Available in two sizes (1.3"x0.7" and 2"x1") in quantities from 250 to 10,000.

Why it matters

A hologram isn't just there to show that a seal was removed — its complexity is also what makes the seal itself hard to fake. That matters anywhere a security or warranty seal could be a target for both tampering and forgery: someone attempting an unauthorized repair, part swap, or access could try to hide it by replacing the seal with a plain reprint, but a multi-layer holographic pattern with serialization is far harder to reproduce convincingly. Pairing a hard-to-copy seal with a unique serial number, barcode, or QR code also lets a manufacturer or service center check a seal against records, not just check that it's intact.
