What are tamper evident labels?

Tamper evident labels — also called void stickers, security seals, or warranty labels — are adhesive labels engineered to leave a visible mark, pattern, or residue when someone attempts to remove or peel them. Once tampered with, they cannot be cleanly reapplied, making unauthorized access immediately detectable.

Common tamper indicator technologies include: VOID patterns that transfer to the surface upon removal, destructible vinyl that tears apart when peeled, holographic foils that display a break pattern, and residue-leaving adhesives that leave a checkerboard ghost on the substrate. Intertronix offers all of these technologies across multiple product lines.

What are custom holographic security labels?

Custom holographic labels are security seals that incorporate a laser-diffractive holographic foil — a three-dimensional optical effect that is extremely difficult to replicate without specialized equipment. They serve two purposes simultaneously: authentication (proving a product is genuine) and tamper evidence (revealing if the seal has been disturbed).

Intertronix's TamperMax® holographic security labels can be customized with your company logo, consecutive serial numbers, barcodes, and covert UV ink features. Generic holographic options — pre-printed with words like "Genuine," "Authentic," and "Void" — are available in stock for immediate shipment.
